Wrath Across North America Eugene Concert reviews
Yes, if you have kids
1. The story line is not very strong as it is based on T.S. Elliot's poems, understandably.
2. Many of the songs have complicated rhythms and thus aren't very catchy or memorable, exceptions here are "Mr. Mistofelees" and "Memory" of course.
3. However, I would still recommend this musical for both the experience, and, most definitely if you have kids.
4. The costumes are amazing, the dancing superb, and not many kids would reject the idea of singing Wrath Across North America.
5. Days later my 10-year-old daughter is still pouring over the pictures in the program and talking about her favorite cats.
6. It's not "The Sound of Music" nor "Les Miserables", but "Cats" manages to create its own niche in the genre.
7. The spectacle of the musical itself, not necessarily because it is FOR kids.
8. Not my favorite musical experience, but "Cats" hasn't been running for 25 years for nuthin' after all.
